3 ways to meet the March 31 deadline for EM capping

March 31, 2015 is the last day to complete your required half (3 hours) or full day safety training.  Only classroom training is accepted, not online training.

Go to www.ohio.bwc.gov and scroll to the bottom of the home page to look up your local service office.  Call the Employer Services line to ask which courses are still available by March 31.

Or select Safety Services and then Training Center.  Once you log in, enter ‘half day course’ in the Search box to see a list of classes.  Click on the blue ‘i’ button to see information about the course, and select the title to see dates & locations.

Or download the 2014-2015 Catalog and scroll to page 40 to see the classroom courses with dates and locations.

The Safety Congress has half and full day sessions on March 31, which is the deadline.  If there are any weather related or other problems that keep you from completing the session, you will lose the EM cap and have to pay the difference between your full premiums and the capped premiums.

This information is an example of how ActuComp Ohio can get the workers’ comp monkey off your back® so you can concentrate on running your business.
